Contest launches October 19th , 2011
Sign up starts at 8:00 and continues until 9:30 or until 12 contestants have signed up for that night, whichever comes first.
Top two Men and top two Women from each qualifying night advance to the semi-finals. Ten contestants from each semi-finals advance to the grand finals.
Round 1 of qualifying is October 19, 2011-December 7, 2011. The semi-finals for those contestants is December 14, 2011
Round 2 of qualifying is January 4, 2011-February 15, 2012. The semi-finals for that round will be February 22, 2012.
The Grand Finals are February 29, 2012
Contestants must be 21 or older.
Contestants must sing from the Premier Entertainment karaoke library. No CDGs, mp3s or A cappella numbers are allowed.
No Duets or Groups.
No one who has worked for Actors Theater on MN, Camp Bar or Premier Entertainment within the past year is eligible to compete.
On the qualifying nights and at the semi-finals each contestant will sing one song.
Singers will be judged by a panel of judges on vocal ability, Stage presence/performance, and Audience response.
Contestant order of appearance will be determined by random drawing.
Once the contest has begun contestants may not change their song.
